Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 4, 2022, in the Oliver Funeral Home Chapel in Winona for Henry Grady “H.G.” Word IV, 49, of Vaiden, who died on Friday, April 29, in Winona. Burial followed in Vaiden Cemetery. The Rev. Philip McRae officiated. Visitation was held from 10 a.m. until service time on Wednesday, May 4, at Oliver Funeral Home.
Mr. Word was born on Sept. 8, 1972, in Augusta, Ga., the son of Henry and Judye Wilcoxon Word III.
His father, Henry Grady Word III, preceded Mr. Word in death.
Survivors include, his wife, Judy Marsman Word of Vaiden; mother, Judye W. Jones of Vaiden and stepfather, Marion Jones of Vaiden.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Blackmonton Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 95, Vaiden, MS 39176.
