Memorial service plans are private for Mrs. Denise Wenger McDaniel, 65, of Kilmichael, who died on Friday, April 26, 2024, at her residence.
Denise was born on Sept. 26, 1958, in Kokomo, Ind., the daughter of the late Paul Ray and the late Corinthia Ann Swope Wenger. She was raised in Winona and was a graduate of Winona High School. She enjoyed a long, successful career with Kroger and retired from their management team. Denise was a wonderful cook and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include, her husband, Allen McDaniel; three daughters, Anita Lantz (Rich) of Coeur d’Alene, Ind., Sandra Chaney (Brent) of McCool and Jennifer McCaskill (DJ) of Kosciusko; four sons, Daniel McCormick (Angelica) of Grenada, Jeremy McDaniel (Jill) of Lucedale, Justin McDaniel of Kosciusko and Jed McDaniel of Starkville; three sisters, Terri Boatman of Winona, Glena Kearns (Tom) of Colorado and Vanetta McCormick (Andrew) of Duck Hill; three brothers, Kent Wenger (Donna) of Winona, Greg Wenger (Irene) of Carrollton and Jimmy Swope (Shanna) of Tallahassee, Fla.; 18 grandchildren; two great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial be directed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
