A Funeral Mass was held at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 28, 2023, from the Chapel of St. Joseph Catholic School in Greenville for Mr. Andrew Joseph Menhal, 54, of Grenada, who died on Tuesday, July 25, at his residence. Burial followed in the Menhal family plot in Greenville City Cemetery.
Andrew was born on Dec. 19, 1968, in Greenville, the son of the late George and the late Richene Hill Menhal. He was educated at Deer Creek Academy, St. Joseph High School in Greenville and Mississippi Delta Community College. He owned and operated Sunset Liquors in Grenada for more than 20 years. Andrew was a racing enthusiast and enjoyed anything that dealt with automobiles and racing. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Greenville.
In addition to his parents, his brothers, David Norris Menhal and George Anthony Menhal, preceded Andrew in death.
Survivors include, his daughter, Victoria Menhal of Jackson; sister, Patty Labella of Greenville and several nieces and nephews.
