NATIONAL SUMMARY
A large storm will spread snow, ice and thunderstorms from
the Plains to the mid-Atlantic tomorrow. From Kansas to
Delaware, snow is forecast to be the primary precipitation
but ice can mix in across the southern portion of the state.
From Texas to North Carolina, persistent rain can be
expected. In the southern portions of the Gulf Coast states,
it will be warm and humid, while severe thunderstorms will
bring flash flooding and localized damaging wind gusts.
Outside of a few snow showers in the Rockies and northern
New England, the rest of the nation will be dry. In the
Southwest, dry and partly sunny conditions will be met with
a strong breeze. A very cold air mass pushing in from Canada
will bring very below-average temperatures and dangerous
cold from Washington to Wisconsin.
