NATIONAL SUMMARY
Showers and thunderstorms are expected along the central
Gulf Coast and lower Mississippi River Valley tomorrow. In
the morning, there can potentially be a thunderstorm that is
severe and capable of bringing damaging wind gusts to
southeastern Louisiana, southeastern Mississippi and
southwestern Alabama. Periods of rain will cover much of the
rest of the Mississippi River Valley in the Midwest. Showers
can expand into Michigan, Ohio and eastern Kentucky and
Tennessee later in the day. There can also be some afternoon
drizzle in central North Carolina and eastern South
Carolina. A Northwest storm will bring rain from the San
Francisco Bay up to the Olympic Peninsula. There can be
mountain snow above pass levels in the Cascades and Sierra.
