NATIONAL SUMMARY
A storm tracking up the East Coast tomorrow will bring a
little freezing rain in the morning to portions of
northeastern Pennsylvania and Upstate New York; roads can be
slippery. Widespread rain is expected from the Southeast up
into the mid-Atlantic, spreading into the Northeast,
especially later. In northern New York, Vermont and New
Hampshire where it is likely to remain around or below
freezing, snow in the afternoon is expected. Places in
northwestern Pennsylvania, southwestern New York and areas
in Upstate New York that have received feet of snow should
prepare for rain melting and soaking into snowpacks,
including those on roofs. Rain saturating them can lead to
ponding on roads or roof collapses. Near the central Gulf
Coast, there can be some rumbles of thunder with the rain.
