_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
Tomorrow, a storm moving across southern Canada will spread
snow from Minnesota to New York. In northern Michigan, heavy
snow can lead to slippery travel. At night snow will spread
through the Northeast, with snow squalls and whiteout
conditions forecast. In the central Mississippi Valley, it
will be dry with a brief reprieve from the bitter cold as
warm air rushes in. Thunderstorms in South Texas will spread
into southeastern Texas and western Louisiana. Any downpour
can lead to ponding on roadways and flooding, particularly
in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Across the majority of
the West, it will be dry and mild with at least partly sunny
skies. In the California valleys patchy fog is forecast to
start. In Oregon and Washington, areas of morning fog may
continue into the early afternoon.
