The Nation's Weather for Thursday, November 28, 2024
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
Thunderstorms from New Orleans through the Gulf Coast into
the Southeast can potentially bring localized damaging
winds, flooding downpours and isolated tornadoes tomorrow.
The same storm can bring steady rain throughout the
mid-Atlantic and Northeast's Interstate 95 corridor.
Snowflakes can mix in with the rain in central and western
Pennsylvania and into the Hudson Valley and northern New
England. Upstate New York and the higher terrain of New
England can have a little snow during the day. Slushy
accumulations on roads can affect and slow down travel for
the holiday. The Plains and Texas will largely be quiet but
also noticeably colder with a breeze. Snow showers are
expected throughout the Colorado Rockies. The West Coast
