The Nation's Weather for Sunday, November 17, 2024
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
A storm in the Northwest will bring rain to western
Washington and Oregon and portions of Northern California
tomorrow. A bit of rain and drizzle can occur east of the
Cascades as well. The storm will spread inland, bringing
snow to the higher elevations across the interior West.
Heavy snow is expected in the Cascades as snow levels drop
throughout the day; this can lead to slippery travel along
mountain passes. Showers and thunderstorms will cover much of
Texas. Thunderstorms tomorrow evening through the night can
be capable of producing flash flooding, hail, localized
damaging wind gusts and isolated tornadoes. The East will
remain dry but breezy in much of New England. The Southeast
will also be largely dry, sunny to partly sunny and
pleasant.
