The Nation's Weather for Thursday, November 14, 2024
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
Widespread rain will fall from eastern Michigan and western
New York southward to Georgia tomorrow. The rain will
largely be beneficial due to recent dry conditions, but
could cause ponding on streets and highways. In the higher
elevations of west-central Pennsylvania and eastern West
Virginia, the precipitation could be mixed with snow or
sleet at the onset. However, little if any accumulation is
expected. Elsewhere, a new storm moving ashore in the
Northwest will promote valley rain showers and mountain snow
in western and central portions of Washington and Oregon,
Northern California, Idaho, western Montana and northwestern
Wyoming. The Southwest, Plains and New England can expect a
dry day. It will be breezy in the northern Rockies, northern
Plains and Great Lakes.
