With the win, GHS improves to 7-10 overall.

Funeral services were held at noon on Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2025, at Germantown Baptist Church for Phoebe Jackson Corder, 78, of Collierville, Tenn., who died peacefully on Tuesday, Aug. 26, in Collierville, Tenn., following a long illness. Burial followed in Memorial Park in Memphis, Tenn., and a reception followed at Germantown Baptist Church.

More than 150 workers with Davey Tree - a rapid-response storm debris cleanup company out of Florida - began staging at the Holiday Inn Express in Grenada Friday morning in anticipation of Winter Storm Fern, which is predicted to glaze the county with thick blanket of ice.
