Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service in Grenada for Mrs. Minnie Carlisle Rutledge Logan, 83, of Grenada, who died on Friday, March 14, in Grenada. Burial will follow in Grenada Memorial Garden. The Rev. Tim McCaffrey will officiate. The family received friends from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Tuesday evening, March 18, and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday, March 19, all at McKibben and Guinn.
Minnie was born on Aug. 24, 1941, in Grenada, the daughter of the late William Ernest Sr. and Dorothy Alene Moorman Carlisle. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Grenada. During her working career, Minnie worked at Pennaco, The Peoples Bank and Heatcraft. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents, her husbands, Richard Taylor Rutledge and Horace Dean Logan; son, Daniel Wayne Rutledge, and brothers, William E. “Bill” Carlisle Jr. and Gerald Carlisle, preceded Minnie in death.
Survivors include, her daughter, Debra Reese (Paul) of Grenada; sister, Judy Miller of Scobey and four grandchildren, Nicole Steed, James Christopher Steed, Adrianna Rutledge and Dakota Rutledge.
