A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Margaret Hill Moss, 90, of Cascilla, who died on Friday, Feb. 12, 2021, at her residence will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 27, at Bethel Holiness Church. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery in Cascilla. The Rev. James “Bubba” Jones will officiate.
Mrs. Moss was born on Dec. 16, 1930, in Cascilla to John Daniel and Vinnie Kendall. She was a retired inspector for Kellwood Company and a devoted member of the Bethel Holiness Church. She loved attending church and worshiping the Lord. Aside from her relationship with the Lord, her family was her highest priority. She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother whose influence will live on for many generations to come.
Her parents; her husbands, Lonnie Houston Hill and Warner Moss; three sisters, Essie Allbritton, Dessie Bledsoe and Elizabeth Vance; one brother, Ottie D. Kendall, and three grandsons, Kevin Hill, Larry Hill Jr. and Dustin Denmark, preceded Mrs. Moss in death.
Survivors include, her daughter, Bobbie Denmark (Donald) of Cascilla; three sons, the Rev. Lonnie T. “Tommy” Hill (Linda), the Rev. Larry Joe Hill Sr. (Sherry) and the Rev. Jerry M. Hill (Sonia), all of Cascilla; one sister, Rivers Franklin of Cascilla; one brother, Doyle Kendall of Cascilla; eight grandchildren, Kim Frazier, Amy Hill Todd, Jason Hill, Troy Hill, Shaun Hill, Trent Hill, Matt Hill and Eric Denmark; 18 great grandchildren, Christin Hill, Logan Hill, Houston Hill, Luke Todd, Stella Kate Todd, Crystal Powers, Will Sturgis, Fallon Sturgis, Andy Robinson, Blake Hill, Brianna Hill, Skylar Hill, Gavin Hill, Seth Hill, Justice Hill, Asher Hill, Breanna White and Baylee Ann Cockerham and four great-great grandchildren, Emily Alswaitti, Nolan Sturgis, Aubrianna Skye Hill and Madalyn Brielle Hill.
Pallbearers will be Eric Denmark, Gavin Hill, Jason Hill, Houston Hill, Logan Hill, Matt Hill, Shaun Hill, Skylar Hill, Trent Hill, Troy Hill, Andy Robinson and Will Sturgis.
