Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at First Baptist Church in Winona for Malcolm Maurice Ferguson, 84, of McCarley, who died on Friday, April 28, at his residence. Burial followed in Oakwood Cemetery in Winona. The Rev. Jay Anderson officiated. Visitation was held from 1 p.m. until service time on Tuesday, May 2, at the church.
Mr. Ferguson was an active member of First Baptist Church in Winona.
His parents, James Vaiden and Edith Fondren Ferguson, preceded Mr. Ferguson in death.
Survivors include, his wife of 61 years, Thelma “Priss” Ferguson of McCarley; daughter, Tisha Ferguson Vaughan (William) of McCarley; his brothers, Dr. James V. Ferguson (Weba) of Oxford and Dr. William F. Ferguson (Ginger) of Hernando; his sister, Celeste Ferguson Bush (Wayne) of Schlater; three grandsons; two great grandchildren and a host of nephews.
