Funeral services were held at noon on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service in Grenada for Mr. Louis Edward McCammon, 74, of Grenada, who died on Friday, March 21, in Jackson. Burial followed in Wayside Cemetery in Scobey. Family and friends will gathered one hour prior to the service on Wednesday, March 26, at McKibben and Guinn.
Louis was born on June 18, 1950, in Grenada, the son of the late William Edward and the late Carrie Louise Richardson McCammon. He was a true handyman and could fix almost anything that needed to be repaired. He loved to “tinker” and was always looking for a new project to tackle. Louis was a Baptist and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren at every opportunity.
In addition to his parents, his sister, Brenda Taylor, and his brother, Barry McCammon, preceded Louis in death.
Survivors include, his daughters, Erin McCammon (Robert Waldo) of Grenada, Megan Shaw (Travis) of Grenada, Brandi Johnson (Tori Garrison) of Oxford and Amanda Brown of Grenada; sons, Chris McCammon (Rita) of Water Valley and Dayton Harris III (Samantha) of Carrollton; 13 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Pallbearers were Dayton Harris, Brandi Johnson, Erin McCammon, Colby Roach, Travis Shaw and Robert Waldo.
