Graveside services were held at noon on Saturday, May 1, 2021, in Woodlawn Memorial Park in Grenada for Mrs. Lori Barnett Weatherall, 60, of Grenada, who died on Tuesday, April 27, in Jackson. The Rev. Eugene Heimbach officiated.
Lori was born on Jan. 6, 1961, in Oakland, Calif., to Joseph Earl Jr. and Annis Allred Barnett. She enjoyed a 28-year-long career with the Mississippi Department of Human Services. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.
Her son, David Beecher Weatherall, and one brother, Mike Barnett, preceded Lori in death.
Survivors include, her husband, Beecher Weatherall; daughter, Lauren McClintock of Brandon; her parents, the Rev. Joe and Ann Barnett of Olive Branch; one brother, Dennis Barnett (Arlena) of Byhalia; granddaughter, Taylor McClintock and sister-in-law, Diane Barnett of Southaven.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to be directed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the charity of the donor’s choice.
