With a blanket of ice still covering roadways in Grenada County, sleet and snow fall finally beginning to slack off as of 5 p.m. Monday and temperatures continuing to drop, several closures for Tuesday, Jan. 16, have been announced.
Closures are as follows:
Tuesday, Jan. 16
• Grenada School District
• Kirk Academy
• Miss Mary's Little Learners
• Reaching Rainbows
• All Holmes Community College campuses. Classes will not meet, but staff will be working virtually.
• Grenada County Courthouse. The Board of Supervisors' meeting scheduled for Tuesday morning will be rescheduled.
• Driver Service Bureau (DMV)
• Modine South. All shifts.
• Nancy's Donuts
• Walmart will be closing at 8 p.m. Management plans on reopening at 8 a.m. tomorrow, Tuesday, Jan. 16.
• The Grenada Star Office
Wednesday, Jan. 17
• Grenada County Courthouse
Monday, Jan. 15
• No Way Jose
• Lost Pizza Co. Grenada
