Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, in Reeds Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery in Stewart for Mr. Kenneth Thompson, 68, of Maben, who died on Sunday, May 26, at his residence. Mr. Darrell Surrette officiated.
Mr. Thompson was born on Jan. 25, 1956, in Ruleville, the son of the late Howard and the late Fay Oliver Thompson. He was a retired United States Navy veteran. He attended Huntsville Church of Christ.
Survivors include, his wife, Sherri Thompson; daughters, Paige Murphy of Yazoo City, Kali Taylor of Eupora, Mary Beth Thompson of Maben and Jill Thompson of Jamestown, Calif.; sons, Nick Thompson of Twaine Harte, Calif., Joey Surrette of Water Valley, Darrell Surrette of Winona and Randy Surrette of Maben; sisters, Lyn Card of Winona, Norma Lott of Columbus and Gay Stephens of Saltillo and 11 grandchildren.
