The Kirk Academy Booster Club is making plans for its annual KA County Fair scheduled from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. on April 21, at the school’s gymnasium. This annual fundraiser provides the school with financial assistance to enhance the overall education at Kirk Academy and support all athletic programs. Over the years, the event has raised money to purchase a new digital school marquee sign, a school bus, scoreboards, uniforms for athletics, a wireless bluetooth sound system and much more.
The festivities will begin at 5 p.m. with games, inflatable jumpers, food and music. For the past couple of years, the Booster Club has encouraged each class from the junior high and high school to create a dance/skit to perform at the County Fair. It has easily become the highlight of the event. This year, the skits will begin at 7 p.m. with each class representing a USA state to go along with this year’s theme: “Spirit & Pride, County Wide.”
Wristbands can be purchased at the gate or ahead of time by ordering from the KA offices.

“I would like to personally invite our community to join us on Friday, April 21, to experience a fun night with family and friends,” KA Booster Club President Lacy Hall said.
