Memorial service plans are pending and will be announced at a later date for Mr. Jimmy Dale Melton, 64, of Grenada, who died on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, in Tupelo.
Jimmy was born on April 4, 1958, in Grenada, the son of J.C. and Christine Fisk Melton. He had spent most of his working life as a truck driver and most recently worked at Hankins Lumber Company.
His parents; two sisters, Betty Collins and Evelyn Johnson, and one brother, Bob Melton, preceded Jimmy in death.
Survivors include, two daughters, Monica Ludolf (Calvin) and Tabatha Welch, all of Grenada; three sisters, Brenda Franklin of Columbia, and Mary Melton and Martha Harrison, both of Grenada; three brothers, Ronnie Melton of Grenada, Donnie Melton of Florida and Charles Melton of Holcomb and six grandchildren, Henry Ludolf, Mason Ludolf, Diesel Ludolf, Julianna Johnson, Ryland Wilson and Addison Wilson.
