Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 9, 2025, in the Mortimer National Funeral Home Chapel in Grenada for Gary Richard Morman, 69, of Duck Hill, who died on Tuesday, May 6, at his residence. Burial followed in Red Hill Cemetery near Duck Hill. Visitation was held from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 8, at Mortimer National Funeral Home.
Gary was born on May 6, 1956, in Grenada, the son of the late Bro. Richard Young Morman and the late Katie Lee Woods Morman. He was employed by Trulite Glass — formerly Binswanger — as a maintenance foreman for 36 years. He was a member of Unity Baptist Church.
Survivors include, his wife, Mary Morman of Duck Hill; his son, Garrett Morman of Brandon; his brother, Manly Morman of Grenada; stepdaughter, Angela Sims of Grenada; step grandson, Zeke Sims, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
