Graveside services were held at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 22, 2021, in Old Cumberland Cemetery in Webster County for Mr. David Lynn Jackson, 61, of Grenada, who died on Wednesday, Feb. 17, in Bossier City, La. Dr. John Boler officiated.
David was born on Monday, Nov. 2, 1959, in Oktibbeha County to Jerry David and Mildred Lynn Kuykendall Jackson. He had enjoyed a long, successful 32-year-long career at Resolute Forest Products as an electrical projects and process control engineer. He and his family attended First Baptist Church in Grenada. He was a motorcycle enthusiast and also enjoyed playing golf.
His mother preceded David in death.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy Jackson; daughter, Aleesha McDonald (Greg) of Grenada; two granddaughters, Aubree McDonald and Marlee McDonald, both of Grenada; his father, Jerry Jackson of Cumberland; brother, Daney Jackson and his wife, Wendy, of Port Matilda, Pa., and three nieces, Carrie Everingham (Todd), Morgan Jackson and Ashley Jackson.
