A Celebration of Life Service was held at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2025, at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service in Grenada for Mr. Alfred Riley “Freddie” Lindsey Jr., 67, of Grenada, who died peacefully at his home on Monday, Aug. 4. The Rev. Chuck Provine and his grandson, Eli Black, officiated. Visitation was held from 4 p.m. until the time of service on Wednesday, Aug. 6, at the funeral home.
Born on April 16, 1958, in Grenada, Freddie enjoyed a long and successful career in electrical supply sales with Agilix in Grenada. He was a man of deep and abiding faith. He had a strong prayer life and a heartfelt love for Jesus, which guided the way he lived and loved others. His faith was evident in his words, his actions and his unwavering devotion to his family and friends.
A devoted outdoorsman, Freddie found joy in hunting, fishing and passionately cheering on the Ole Miss Rebels in every sport. Nothing made him prouder than sharing those passions with his grandchildren — whether at sporting events in Oxford or supporting them in their own activities. Above all, Freddie was a loving and devoted family man whose presence and influence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
His father, Alfred Riley “Sonny” Lindsey Sr., preceded Freddie in death.
