Ms. Ada Loyce Overbey, 88, of Holcomb, went to her heavenly home on Monday, April 11, 2022.
Ada Loyce was born on Dec. 14, 1933, the daughter of William Leroy and Erma Louise Greaver in Monticello, Ken. She worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse for most of her working life. In her spare time, she enjoyed working in the yard, growing a vegetable garden, cooking and reading. She was a devoted Baptist.
Her parents, her sister, Mabel Louise Elrod, and one daughter, Tina Johnson Burkley, preceded Ada Loyce in death.
Survivors include, her two daughters, Patsy Skelton and Cathy Johnson Benefield (Benny); son, Steve Johnson; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Elizabeth Jones Library.
