Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 8, 2021, in Woodlawn Memorial Park for Mr. Joel Davis Branscome Jr., 69, of Grenada, who died on Wednesday, Feb. 3, at his residence. The Rev. Daniel Herring officiated.
Joel was born on Aug. 26, 1951, to J.D. and Betty Bowen Branscome. He attended Mississippi State University and was a retired cattleman. He was a member of First United Methodist Church Grenada.
His parents and his sister, Diane Branscome Wimberley, preceded Joel in death.
Survivors include, his aunt, Christine Hales of Vicksburg; uncle, Harold Ray Bowen of Greenwood and a host of cousins and friends.
