Collins signed a proclamation, which dedicated an entire week to honoring farmers. Agriculture provides almost every necessity in daily lives and according to the GCFB board, too few people truly understand this contribution.
“By observing this week, we can recognize the importance that agriculture plays in our daily lives,” James said. “The proclamation will also show the appreciation to our farmers. These men and women truly do a thankless job. We are honored to bring this recognition and awareness to our city.”
