Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 2, 2021, at the Mortimer National Funeral Home Chapel in Grenada for Robert Weaver “Bobby” Harrison, 61, of Holcomb, who died on Monday, Aug. 30, at his residence. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery in Yalobusha County. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until service time at Mortimer National Funeral Home.
Bobby was born on Aug. 1, 1960, in Coffeeville, the son of the late George Weaver Harrison and Patsy June Harrison. He was employed as a floor mechanic for many years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and researching family genealogy.
His parents, George W. Harrison and Patsy and Billy Max Hall, preceded Bobby in death.
Survivors include, his daughters, Misty Marie Harrison of Elliott and Jamie Elizabeth Sowell and her husband, Butch, of Hernando; sons, Robert Joshua Harrison and his wife, Danielle, of Bartlett, Tenn., and Joseph Weaver Harrison of Coffeeville; sisters, Theresa June Holland and her husband, Cliff, of Holcomb and Betty Jo Morrison and her husband, Buddy, of Holcomb; brothers, George Kent Harrison and his wife, Jan, of Nashville, Ark., and Lee Andrew Harrison and his wife, Lacon, of Huntsville, Ala., and 11 grandchildren.
