A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 16, 2022, in the gymnasium at Coffeeville High School for Mr. Zachery Dale Boyd, 17, of Coffeeville, who died on Tuesday, Jan. 4, from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident near Coffeeville. Burial will follow in Elam Baptist Church Cemetery. Family and friends will gather one hour prior to the service on Sunday, Jan. 16, in the gymnasium.
Zach was born on Jan. 7, 2004, in Grenada, the son of Tommy Boyd and the late Brandy Ford Boyd. He was a senior at Coffeeville High School and took great pride in his academic achievements. He was proud to have recently been accepted on a full academic scholarship as an incoming freshman at the University of Mississippi. He enjoyed being employed at The Ville in Coffeeville where he served the patrons with his contagious, positive attitude. He made a profound impact on those that knew and loved him, and will be missed for many years to come.
His mother, Brandy Boyd, and stepmother, Elizabeth Kramer, preceded Zach in death.
Survivors include, his father, Tommy Boyd of Coffeeville; sisters, Piper Boyd and Aurora Kramer, both of Coffeeville; grandparents, Richard and Brenda Ford and Tina Smitherman, all of Coffeeville and Donald Boyd Jr. of Ravenden, Ark., and great grandparents, Louise Cole, Mavis Patterson and David Gray, all of Coffeeville.
Pallbearers will be Garrett Bardo, Clay Boyd, Cody Ford, Elbert Harris, Jarod Logan and J.R. Pickle.
