Grenada Food Pantry organizers need volunteers to assist during its monthly Distribution Day set for this Saturday, April 23.
The Grenada Food Pantry is located next to the Grenada Police Department and City Auditorium. Handicap recipients are to drive thru on Green Street. For those able to walk, please enter through the entrance on Main Street. Distribution times are from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m., but volunteers are asked to be there at least 30 minutes prior.
If you missed the recertification day in early March and do not have the 2021-22 GREEN ID card, you must complete a new application. Bring proof of income for the household, proof of residency in Grenada County, a photo ID and names and ages for any others you are claiming.
