For half a century First Presbyterian Church has hosted lunch and a worship service each day during Holy Week. Dr. T Russell Nunan was instrumental in beginning these worship services in 1972. The purpose of these services is to bring Christians together to worship and to promote unity in all denominations and races.
This truly is an ecumenical event as ministers, musicians, and men, women, and children from various churches will gather in fellowship and worship. Ladies from each of the churches will join together and provide sandwiches, chips, dessert, coffee or tea to approximately 100–125 Grenadians each day.
Lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. until noon, the meditation from noon until 12:30 p.m., and lunch after the service at 12:30 p.m.
You are invited to come each day to worship our Risen Saviour with Christians from all walks of life.
First Presbyterian Church is located at 92 Second St., in historical Downtown Grenada.
Join us as we reflect on the meaning of this special week in the life of the Church.
