Preparation for the 2020 high school football season continues for both the Grenada Chargers and Kirk Raiders.
Offseason work was postponed due the Coronavirus pandemic that canceled the final nine weeks of the school year.
Missing important time has put teams behind trying to get ready for the start of camp the end of July and the first of August.
When the teams began workouts in June, temperatures were checked and health questions were asked of all players along with asking health questions. Athletes could lift weights and went through conditioning in groups of 10. Players started with basics, like lifting the bar or just free weights.
