Living the dream.
Any young coach, no matter the sport, sees himself as a head coach one day.
Not many have the opportunity to lead a program in Mississippi’s highest class, Class 6A.
For 2002 Kirk Academy graduate Mitchell Harville, his dream became reality recently. The son of Myra and Mark Harville will lead the Horn Lake High School football program this fall.
Harville takes over the reins for Brad Boyette, who recently announced his retirement.
“Anybody that gets in this business wants to eventually become a head coach,” Harville said. “To be able to do this in Class 6A is an honor. I’m excited about the opportunity given to me.”
