Kirk holds virtual athletic banquet

Kirk Academy honored its athletes with a virtual banquet held recently.
Athletes and cheerleaders in fall sports were honored. There were no awards given for spring sports, which had seasons cancelled. Winners were recognized but not present for the event.

Cross Country
Girls

Most improved – Charley Rose; Raider Award – Sara Brooke Branscome and Caroline Perry; Most Valuable – Molly Lane.

Boys

Most improved – John Lake Melton; Raider Award – Luke Hollingsworth and Cole Bailey; Most Valuable – Chase Rose.

Junior Varsity football

Best Offensive – Carter Hathcock; Best Defensive – Taylor Leverette; Most Improved – Matthew McWhorter; Raider Award – Cody James; Most Valuable – Bryce Harville.

True Grit Award – Rodney Defenbaugh; Raider Award – Culley Griffin; Most Improved – Colton Lane; Most Valuable – Logan Hall, Rob Houston Bailey and Alex McDurmon; All-District – Logan Hall, Alex McDurmon, Rob Houston Bailey, Graham Seibel and Matt McKay.
