The election cycle continues as county election commissioners finishes out their respected terms.
According to Grenada County Circuit Clerk Michele Redditt-Garcia, the qualifying window has opened for the county’s five election commissioner seats.

Those seeking the positions have ample time to decide if they want to run as the qualifying deadline is June 1. Potential candidates must turn in 50 signatures from residents in their respected district to qualify.
Redditt-Garcia said candidates will also have to live in the district that they are seeking office.
