Chargers search for momentum

The final week of the 2019 regular season takes place tonight for the Grenada Chargers.
Coach Ashley Kuhn’s crew stands at 6-4 on the season. The Chargers are pretty much where a lot of experts thought they would be when the season started.
Grenada lost to Lafayette (24-21) and West Point (20-13). The disappointing game came two weeks ago, a 21-7 decision to Lake Cormorant. The loss had the Chargers in a must-win situation last week against Center Hill. They managed a 45-28 decision and now with a win tonight over New Hope or a Lake Cormorant loss, they will finish fourth and travel to Neshoba Central next week for the playoff opener.
Right now, GHS is focused on a New Hope team that has won just three games. Kuhn wants his team to go into the contest focused and take care of business.
