Stanley Ross Caulder

Funeral services for Stanley Ross Caulder, 56, of Grenada, were Sunday at Pine Grove Baptist Church near Coffeeville.
Burial was at Dividing Ridge Cemetery near Coffeeville.
Mr. Caulder died Thursday, Sept. 12, 2019, at Merritt Health Central in Jackson.
He was born on April 19, 1963, in Yalobusha County and was the son of the late Edgar Clayton Caulder and Edna Mae Gilbert Caulder. Stanley worked as a carpenter.   He was a member Pine Grove Baptist Church.
Mr. Caulder was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Renee Latrice Caulder, and four brothers, William Larry Caulder, Jerry Caulder, Daniel Caulder and Ronald Clayton Caulder.
He is survived by his daughter Candice Burdick; step-daughter Mandy Jenkins; sisters, Judy Spears and Particia McElhaney; brothers, James L. Caulder and Charles E. Caulder; five grandchildren and four step-grandchildren.

Agnes Cottingham Heath

Sept. 22, 1925 – Sept. 12, 2019 – Funeral services for Mrs. Agnes Cottingham Heath of Winona will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 17, in the Oliver Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Eskridge Cemetery at Eskridge.
The Rev. Jerry McNeer, the Rev. Sam Riddell and the Rev. George B. Heath III, will officiate the services.
Pallbearers will be George B. Heath III, Joseph Heath, Josh Heath, Philip Heath, Sam Marter and Mark Fielder.
Mrs. Heath, 93, passed away at Vaiden Community Living Center in Vaiden on Thursday, Sept. 12, 2019. She was born in Montgomery County on Sept. 22, 1925, and was the daughter of the late W.B. and Sallie Belle Box Cottingham. Mrs. Heath was a retired nurse with Tyler Holmes Memorial Hospital in Winona. She was a member of Eskridge Baptist Church and had attended Community Baptist Church near Kilmichael for several years.   She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star – J B Small Chapter 78, the Triple L Club, the American Legion Auxiliary and the Tyler Holmes Memorial Hospital Auxiliary.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Heath was preceded in death by her husband the. Rev. George B. Heath; her son the Rev. George B. “Pete” Heath Jr.; granddaughters, Ashley Marie Heath and April DeLoach; great-granddaughter Mercedes Sellers; great-great-granddaughter, Harmony Collins; a sister Ruth Land; and brothers Horace, Melvin, and Kenneth Cottingham.
Mrs. Heath is survived by her daughter Mary Jo Marter (Steve) of Duck Hill; sons, Jesse Eugene Heath (Ruth) of Ridgeland and David Cottingham Heath (Lana) of Winona; sisters, Sara Williams of Learned and Marilyn McHaffey (David) of Marietta, Ga.; 12 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the   Eskridge Cemetery Fund, 209 Locke Drive, Kilmichael, MS   39747; or to a charity of the donor’s choice.

Armond ‘Lee’ LeClair

Mr. Armond F. “Lee” LeClair, 93, of Oxford, a long-time resident and businessman in Grenada, died Friday, Sept. 13, 2019, at Baptist Memorial Hospital – North Mississippi in Oxford.
A service to celebrate will be held Monday, Sept. 23, at All Saints Episcopal Church in Grenada. Inurnment will be in the church columbarium.

Robert Edward Montgomery

Mr. Robert Edward Montgomery, 87, of Holcomb, passed away Saturday, Sept. 14, 2019, at the Mississippi State Veteran’s Home in Oxford.
He was born July 11, 1932, in Holcomb to Herman Leroy and Sally Childs Montgomery. Mr. Montgomery was a member of the Grenada Church of God and had served our country in the 101st Airborne in the U.S. Army. He had worked for many years at Heatcraft in Grenada.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 17, at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service in Grenada with the Rev. James McElroy officiating. Interment will follow in the Sparta Cemetery near Holcomb.
The family will receive friends from 1noon until service time Tuesday at McKibben and Guinn.
Survivors include three daughters, Dell Kirk (Chad) of Holcomb, Cheryl Darling of Phoenix, Ariz., and Patty Galvan (Roland) of Holcomb; six grandchildren, Tony Darling, Robby Darling, Corey Galvan, Casey Galvan, Robyn Galvan and Caitlyn Kirk; and three great-grandchildren, Lyric Galvan, Scarlett Campbell and Wyatt Galvan.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Dorris Whitsell Montgomery and three sisters, Willie Mae Payne, Delores Jones and Nell Hill.
Pallbearers will be Mark Campbell, Casey Galvan, Corey Galvan, Billy Whitsell, Jason Whitsell and Michael Whitsell.

Tommy Allen Parker

Mr. Tommy Allen Parker, 85, of Big Creek, passed away Thursday, Sept. 12, 2019, at the University of Mississippi Medical Center – Grenada.
He was born Feb. 11, 1934, in Big Creek to Tom Hill and Imogene Walton Parker. He retired after working many years as a truck driver for Binswanger Mirror in Grenada and was a member of Big Creek Baptist Church. He could always be found with a smile on his face and an outstretched hand willing to help anyone in need.
Funeral services were Saturday at Big Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Jimmy Vance and the Rev. Chris Conlee officiating. Interment was in the Chapel Hill Cemetery at Big Creek.
Survivors include two daughters Gail McKibben and her husband, Mike of Bruce; Jessica Ward of Sand Hill; two sons, Anthony Allen “Tony” Parker and his wife Pam of Calhoun City, and Jesse Parker and his wife Amy of Bruce; one sister Linda Wright of Corinth; one brother Charles Parker and his wife Sandra of Coffeeville; seven grandchildren, Dusty McKibben and his wife Randye, Katie Parker, Luke Parker, Taylor Parker, Emma Ward, Parker Ward and Ethan Parker; and one great-grandchild Molly Kate McKibben.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Cordelia Parker; one sister Nancy Gosa and a brother Alfred Parker.
Pallbearers will be Mike Gosa, Brent Parker, Gary Parker, Kent Parker, Steve Parker and Jason Wright.

Raleigh Edward Wood III

Mr. Raleigh Edward Wood III, 56, of Grenada, passed away Thursday, Sept. 12, 2019 at his residence.
He was born Nov. 28, 1962. in Bainbridge, Ga., to Raleigh Edward Wood Jr. and Opal Wooten Wood. Raleigh earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Mississippi State University and his Master’s in Educational Leadership from the University of Mississippi. Raleigh retired after 32 years as a teacher, baseball coach and principal in the Starkville, Winona and Grenada Schools. He was a member and elder at the Southside Church of Christ in Grenada.
Funeral services were Sunday at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Grenada with Bro. Joey Gafford and Bro. Raleigh Wooten officiating. Interment was in the Fulmer Cemetery in Lafayette County.
Survivors include his wife Meg Ragland Wood; one daughter Lindsay Wood Hayes (Logan) of Brandon; two sons Raleigh Edward “Reiv” Wood IV and Ryan Douglas Wood, both of Grenada; mother Opal Wood of Starkville; and three brothers, Joe Wood (Leslie) of Starkville, Andy Wood (Donna) of Kosciusko and Marcus Wood of Scooba.
He was preceded in death by his father Raleigh Edward Wood, Jr.
Pallbearers were Robert Covin, Ross Graham, Malcom Grant, Lee Holly, Cole Surrell, Kelby Surrell, Matt Surrell and Marshall Whittemore.
