The Grenada County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a weekend shooting that left four people injured on the outskirts of town.

The four injured in Saturday night’s shooting remain hospitalized, and investigators with the sheriff’s department are sorting through evidence.

Officials Monday identified the victims as Lewis Rowe, 24, of Chicago; Taurus Rowe, 20, of Chicago; Rapheal Cain, 22, of Grenada; and Markeysion Hughes, 24, of Grenada.

The shooting happened shortly before 11 p.m. in the 1500 block of Halls Road, at a residence near where the county meets the city limits.

The sheriff’s department, along with the Grenada Police Department, responded to the call of multiple shots fired near the home.
