Stephen E. Lishman

Stephen E. Lishman, 56, of Winona died Friday, May 31, 2019, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Eupora.
Funeral services for Mr. Lishman will be graveside at the Winona Garden of Memory at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, June 4.
Mr. Lishman was born in Winona on April 26, 1963, and was a 1981 graduate of Winona High School.  He was a supervising project engineer and a member of North Winona Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe Edward and Agnes Lee Lishman.

Wanda Flanagan Mayhan

Funeral services for Wanda Ann Flanagan Mayhan, 61, of Grenada, were, Monday, June 3, at the Mortimer National Funeral Home Chapel in Grenada.
Burial was in Elliott Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Mayhan died Friday, May 31, 2019, at the Grenada Living Center.
She was born on July 4, 1957, in Joliet, Ill., and was the daughter of the late Roy E, Flanagan and Clara Marie Whitten Flanagan. Wanda was employed by Walmart as a cashier for many years. She was a member Hebron Baptist Church in Grenada.
Mrs. Mayhan was preceded in death by her parents, and a great-grandson, Bentley Fortier.
She is survived by her husband James Mayhan of Byhalia; two sons, Nick Mayhan and Jeff Mayhan of Grenada; two sisters, Helen Chamblee (Johnny) and Joann Read (Kevin) of Grenada; two brothers, Johnny Flanagan and Marty Flanagan of Grenada; seven grandchildren, Brooke Edwards (Barrett), Devin Mayhan (Marisa), Blake Mayhan, Megan Mayhan (John), Lexie Mayhan, Katie Beth Mayhan, and Gracie Mayhan; and four great-grandchildren, Kyler Edwards, Skyler Edwards, Aubrey Page Fortier and Roman Mayhan.

Janie Kendall Wood

Janie Louise Kendall Wood, 75, of Grenada, passed away Sunday June 2, 2019, at Grenada Rehab and Healthcare Center.
She was born Dec. 8, 1943. in Cascilla to Sammy D. and Nettie B. Melton Kendall. Mrs. Wood was retired after working many years at Pennaco, and she was a member of Stonefield Church of God.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 5, at Stonefield Church of God with the Rev. Shannon Kendall and the Rev. Mark Moore officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the church.
Survivors include her daughter Lynn Holder (Sonny) of Grenada; three sisters, Marjorie Vaughn of Duck Hill, Phyllis Kendall of Santa Rosa, Calif., and Janet Kendall of Grenada; two brothers, James Earl Kendall of Greenwood and Sam Kendall Jr. of Cascilla; and two grandchildren, Amber Glasgow and Nicholas Glasgow.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter Brenda Wood Bell and a sister Marie Springer.
Pallbearers will be Ricky Allbritton, Henry Kendall, Norris Kendall, Ray Kendall, Roger Morris and Johnny Smith. David Vaughn will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
