End of year brings school changes

With classes out for the summer, changes have come within the Grenada School District that will land new faces in different places.
The changes come at all five of the district schools and the central office.
According to Superintendent Dr. David Daigneault, Dr. Tina Herrington will replace Dr. Bettye Neely as the director of federal programs.
Neely retired from the school district this year after 50 years of service.
“We are proud of Dr. Herrington, and she is going to do an outstanding job,” Daigneault said.
Charles Washington has been selected to take over as principal at the Grenada Enrichment and Transition Center in Tie Plant, the position that Herrington previously held.
