Arrest made in Triplett shooting

The Grenada Police Department has arrested a man in connection with the shooting death of Isiaha Triplett in March.
Grenada Police Chief Garrett Hartley identified the man arrested as Fadarius Winston, 24, of Grenada.  Winston’s arrest comes after the two-month investigation following Triplett’s shooting death on March 27.
Hartley said Winston is charged with murder. He is  being held at the Grenada County Jail on a $500,000 bond.
“The investigation is ongoing and we made an arrest with the assistance of the Grenada County Sheriff’s Department and the District Attorney’s Office,” Hartley said.
Triplett, 21, was found shot to death at the Washington Garden Apartments. Police found him shot twice next to his Ford Mustang in the parking lot of the apartments.
