Grenada Youth League teams dodged forecasted rains for both Thursday and Friday and were able to play a full slate of games both days.
The majority of Friday’s games were highly-competitive with the final outcome being either one or two runs.
One of the most exciting games came in the 9-10 boys division between the Daredevils and the Astros.
Brently Thornton and Dawson George both had a homerun to help the Daredevils win a 7-5 decision. Judy Liberto and Miles Breland were the offensive standouts.
Kason Coleman and Bryson Mills led the defensive effort.
Joseph Kellum homered in a losing effort. William Cotton and Beau Blakely were the offensive standouts.
Defensively, Wyatt Mooney, Klayton Winter and Damon Stephens were the leaders.
