Woman hit by vehicle; teen arrested

A Grenada woman is in serious condition after she was struck by a SUV during a fight Monday afternoon.
According to the Grenada Police Department’s Incident Report, a woman identified as Chelsea Williams, 27, of Grenada is recovering at a Jackson hospital from a severely broken leg and bruised pelvis.
Officers have arrested a woman identified as Lakelcia Lusk, 18, who faces aggravated assault charges.
According to the report, police responded to the call at Rayford Allen Park around 7 p.m. concerning a woman being run over by a vehicle.
“When police arrived, witnesses stated that the victim Williams had been struck by a vehicle and taken to the emergency room by a personal vehicle,” the report said.
