Defense, defense, defense.
It’s something that coaches stress to their players each day.
That defense was on display Tuesday as the Kirk Raiders hosted Oak Hill.
Kirk led the low-scoring contesr 12-9 at halftime. They were able to increase the lead to as many as seven points during the second half.
In fact, the game came down to a final shot that Oak Hill failed to get off before the buzzer enabling the Raiders to win a 35-34 decision.
With the win, Kirk improves to 11-8 overall.
The girls led OHA by 10 points at halftime and went on to a 42-33 victory. With the win, the Raiderettes improve to 8-14 on the season.
