It was a tough night on the soccer field for the Grenada Chargers and Lady Chargers.
GHS traveled to Oxford for its second division match of the season.
In the opener, Lafayette led 3-0 at halftime and won a 4-1 decision. The Commodores made it a sweep with a 5-4 penalty kick win,
“I thought we played hard throughout the game,” Coach Chris Miller said. “We moved the ball around, but just couldn’t get the ball in the net.”
Delanie Williams scored the lone goal for the Lady Chargers in the second half.
Grenada drops to 7-3 overall and 1-1 inside the division.
