A Carroll County man will face a Grenada County Grand Jury  in connection with a September attack in Holcomb.
During Grenada County Justice Court last week Judge Jimmy Tallant ordered William L. Barry, 45, of Carrollton to be bound over to a grand jury and raised his bond to $150,000.
Barry was arrested last month in connection to a home invasion  in Holcomb.  Before facing Tallant, Barry had been out on a $30,000 bond.
According to the Grenada County Sheriff’s Department, the incident stems from the morning of Sept. 21 when deputies responded a call to a home on Sparta Road.
When deputies arrived at the scene, a woman who owns the home informed them that  her house had been broken into by a man.
Barry faces charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, burglary of a dwelling, breaking and entering and attempted rape.
