David Hunter Beckham

Funeral services for David Hunter Beckham, age 60, of Grenada, are at 2 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 15, at the Mortimer National Funeral Home Chapel in Grenada.
Burial will follow in Smith Cemetery at Rosebloom.
Visitation is Friday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Mortimer National Funeral Home.
Mr. Beckhan died Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2018, at UMMC-Jackson. He was born on Nov. 11, 1957, to the late Cecil Lynn Beckham Jr. and Annie Mae Little Beckham.
Hunter was a construction supervisor and a Presbyterian. He as also a member of the Moose Lodge.
Mr. Beckhan was preceded in death by his parents; one brother John Robert Beckham; and one granddaughter Angelena Beckham.
He is survived by his wife Linda Beckham of Grenada; one daughter Kassie Clemons of Horn Lake; one brother Lynn Beckham of Coffeeville; and three nieces, Annie Beckham, Candice Coleman, and Jennifer Lovelace.

Funeral services for Abbie Crump of Wichita, Kan., formerly of Charleston, are Saturday at 12:30 p.m. at Rocky Branch M.B. Church with burial in J&D Cemetery in Charleston.
Ms. Crump, 82, died of natural causes at her home on Sept. 5, 2018. She was born on July 10, 1936.

Funeral services for Terry James of Southaven, native of Grenada, are Saturday at 11 a.m. at Burning Bush M. B. Church with burial in Haven Rest Cemetery.
Mr. James, 48, died Sept. 7, 2018. He was born on April 6, 1970. Mr. James was a 1988 graduate of Grenada High School and a retired veteran who served in Desert Storm as a Food Service Specialist.
Mr. James is survived by his mother Joann James of Grenada; daughter Airelle James of Washington, D.C.; and son LaTerryan James of Memphis.

Kenneth Earl Lester

Funeral services for Kenneth Earl Lester of Coffeeville are Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Mt. Moriah District Association Building with burial in the Coffeeville Cemetery.
Mr. Lester, 54, died at Baptist Memorial Hospital on Sept. 3, 2018. He was born Oct. 15, 1963. Mr. Lester worked for the City of Coffeeville for many years and later developed a passion for landscaping and home projects.
Mr. Lester is survived by his mother Bernice Hayes Lester of Coffeeville; son Kenny Pritchard of Blaine, Minn.; two sisters, Sherry Lester of Coffeeville and Linda Johnson; and three brothers, Darrell Lester of Coffeeville, James Benson and Leo Benson, both of Pensacola, Fla.

Margaret Ann Oswalt

Mrs. Margaret Ann Oswalt, 82, of Coffeeville, formerly of Greenville, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2018, at the Baptist Nursing Home in Calhoun City.
She was born Aug. 18, 1936, in Darlove to Charlie and Lessie Hall Jones. Mrs. Oswalt was a retired bookkeeper where she worked alongside her husband for many years at S&M Auto & Truck Repair. She was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, at Pine Grove Baptist Church in Yalobusha County with the Rev. Truman Scarborough officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Saturday at the church.
Survivors include her husband James Steve Oswalt; one daughter Sherry Watkins of Gore Springs; five sons, Raymond Broadhead of Los Angeles, Timothy Broadhead of Kemah, Texas, Michael Oswalt of Katy, Texas, Keith Oswalt of Katy, Texas and Heath Oswalt of Katy, Texas; one granddaughter Tracy Costilow of Winona; three great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Tina Marie Ross Williams, 50, of Scobey, passed away Sunday, Sept. 9, 2018, at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. She was born April 30, 1968, in Grenada. Tina was a homemaker. She had attended Grenada High School.
Graveside services were Wednesday at Smith Cemetery in the Rosebloom Community of Tallahatchie County.
Survivors include her daughter Leslie Kerr (Anthony) of Grenada; one son Jay Peters of Grenada; mother Sally Ross of Grenada; father Melvin Ross (Lora) of Grenada; two grandchildren, Alyssa and Cayden Kerr of Grenada; a brother David Ross of Grenada and special friend Matt Turner.
She was preceded in death by her son John Ryan Williams.
