Missed chances cost Chargers

The final score wasn’t what GHS Coach Ashley Kuhn wanted to see.
But, the effort was right on target.
Grenada opened the 2018 season at home against Christian Brothers, one of the top teams in the state of Tennessee. The Chargers stood toe-to-toe with a team that finished 12-1 last season and sported three Division 1 commitments.
In the end, the difference was missed opportunities and critical penalties. Christian Brothers took advantage and used a 24-yard run from Al Wooten with 9:47 left and escaped with a 7-0 win.
