Fast pitch softball teams play a lot of games in a short time.
The Kirk Raiderettes were an example of that this past week.
Since Aug. 2, Kirk has played seven games. In those games, they finished with a 2-4-1 mark making them 4-7-1 on the season.
Kirk lost a 12-0 decision to Washington School last Thursday.
Over the past weekend, they took part in the Indianola Academy Invtitational. In pool play, KA lost 7-1 to Indianola, beat Carroll 8-4 and tied North Delta 4-4.
In bracket play, the Raiderettes were eliminated with a 3-1 loss to Deer Creek.
Monday, they opened division play with a 7-2 home win over North Delta. A day later, Kirk lost a 11-1 decision to Indianola.
