Mr. Duane Ayers, 82, of Holcomb, died Sunday, July 29, 2018, at his residence.

Erma Fogarty

Erma Fogarty, 89, of Grenada, passed away Saturday, July 28, 2018, at Grenada Living Center.
She was born Oct. 31, 1928, in North Dakota to Fred and Karolina Renke Hintz. Erma retired as a manager of Wolf Brothers in Memphis and was a faithful member of the First United Methodist Church in Grenada.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 4, at First United Methodist Church in Grenada with the Rev. Daniel Herring officiating. Interment will follow in the Woodlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
Survivors include one daughter Nancy Ratliff of Grenada; five grandchildren, Lisa Lunamond, Larry Joe Fogarty Jr., Taren Denton, Cindy Buckley and Felicia Staten; nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband George Dewey Fogarty; a son Larry Joe Fogarty and 11 siblings.

Mary Allene Hentz

Funeral services for Mary Allene Hentz, 76, of Grenada, are at 2 p.m., Tuesday, July 31, at the Mortimer National Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Duck Hill Cemetery.
Visitation is Tuesday from noon to 2 p.m. at Mortimer National Funeral Home.
Allene died Sunday, July 29, 2018, at Grenada Health and Rehab.
She was born on March 24, 1939, in Duck Hill and was the daughter of the late Jewel Henry Rose and Travie Allene Alldread Rose.
Mrs. Hentz was employed by Kellwood and Angelica as a seamstress. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Grenada.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one son Jesse Duane Vance; one sister Laverne Downs; and two brothers, James Howard Rose and Roy Rose.
She is survived by one son Barry Vance of Atoka, Tenn.; one sister Betty Lou Ware of Winona; two brothers, Gene Rose of Florida and Homer Rose of Hephzibah, Ga.; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the National Alzhiemer’s Association.

Joncy L. Muselwhite

Mr. Joncy Lee Muselwhite, 68, of Coffeeville, passed away Sunday, July 29, 2018, at his residence.
He was born Dec. 23, 1949, in Holcomb to Joncy Calhoun and Maudie McCammon Muselwhite. Mr. Muselwhite was a retired truck driver, a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church and a U.S. Army Veteran.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 31, at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service with the Rev. Truman Scarborough officiating.  Interment will follow in the Dividing Ridge Cemetery in Yalobusha County.  The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday and one hour prior to the service Tuesday all at McKibben and Guinn.
Survivors include his wife Shelby Muselwhite; daughter Brandi Smith (Brian) of Grenada; son Brian Weeks (Katie) of Starkville; and five grandchildren, Erika, Brayden, Chloe, Jayden and Colton.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Flora Lidell and Modie Little, and one brother, Gene Muselwhite.
Pallbearers will be David Brown, Bodie Dye, Jerry Holliday, Cainan Lenard, David Muselwhite, Jeff Robertson and Randy White.
