Charles Morgan of Grenada died Monday, June 25, 2018, at his residence.

Nancy Pittman Tribble

Nancy Pittman Tribble, 81, of Memphis, died June 20, 2018, at Methodist North Hospital in Memphis.
She was born June 7, 1937, in Grenada to Daniel Sayle and Mary Lou Davis Pittman. She was a devoted homemaker and a member of Raleigh United Methodist Church. Mrs. Tribble will be remembered as an excellent seamstress and cook.
Funeral services were Saturday at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service with Dr. Brad Thomas officiating. Interment was in the Oddfellows Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband Johnnie L. “J Lynn” Tribble of Memphis; one daughter Lynette Tribble of Cordova, Tenn., and a brother Daniel Sayle Pittman Jr. of Chaing Mai, Thailand.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Betty Faye Pittman.

Toyce ‘Taters’ Spencer

Mr. Toyce “Taters” Spencer, 71, of Grenada, passed away Wednesday, June 20, 2018, at Baptist Memorial Hospital – North Mississippi in Oxford.
He was born Jan. 23, 1947, in Tate County to Ed Earl and Mae Beatrice O’Conner Spencer. Toyce had worked most of his life as a farmer and heavy equipment operator.
Funeral services were Saturday at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service in Grenada with Pastor Farrell Wilson officiating. Interment was in the Grenada Memorial Garden.
Survivors include his daughter Crystal Vance (Lee) of Grenada; son Jerry Dale Hendricks (Wendy) of Forest; three sisters, Marlana Ray and Carolyn Bingham of Alabama, and Jenny Moore of Gore Springs; three brothers, Lonnie Spencer of Grenada, Michael Spencer of Calhoun City and James Spencer of Texas; five grandchildren, Kaitlin Raymond, Madison Hendricks, Molly Hendricks, Will Gant and Jerry “J.J.” Hendricks. and one great-grandchild Bella Hendricks.
He was preceded in death by his parents and four sisters, Stella Mann, Ann Sultan, Edna Spencer and Louise Green.
Pallbearers were David Burchfield, Scooter Fullilove, Jerry Hendricks, Arnold Lopez, Robert Millwood and Lee Vance.
